On Self-Expression Day, students will take part in a range of calm, creative and engaging activities designed to help them share who they are in ways that feel comfortable, safe and joyful. The day will run through small-group stations such as art exploration, music and rhythm play, movement and sensory expression, storytelling and communication spaces, and quiet reflection areas for students who prefer gentle or low-stimulus participation.
The focus of the day is confidence, creativity and inclusion ensuring all our students have the opportunity to participate in their own way, at their own pace, with plenty of positive encouragement, sensory-friendly environments and supportive transitions throughout the event.
